Every year, more than a hundred outdoor enthusiasts come together for a casually competitive day on the links at Jester Park Golf Course. This well-paced outing follows best-ball gameplay and includes prizes for both men’s and women’s longest drive, longest putt, and closest to the pin as well as first, second, and third place teams. You’ll enjoy the lush scenery of this property while spending the day outside, raising funds for conservation and recreation.

The Wild Prairie Showdown is a collaborative, high-energy event that features four participants competing to be named MVP — Most Valuable Philanthropist. Competitors for the Great Outdoors Foundation and ICON Water Trails go head-to-head in a friendly pseudo-pageant including fundraising, fashion show, and interview components. As a guest at the Wild Prairie Showdown, you’ll participate in live voting and donating in support of your selected competitor and team. Enjoy local food, hosted bar, engaging company, and this one-of-a-kind experience advancing conservation and recreation in our region. Come dressed to impress in your best interpretation of “formal flannel!”
