BUSINESS RECORD: Watershed26 Conference Dives into Innovative Water Quality Practices

The Great Outdoors Foundation hosted Athene Watershed26 on June 30 and July 1 at the Iowa Events Center. Watershed26 is a cross-sector summit addressing water quality at the convergence of agriculture and conservation.

One session covered innovative water quality practices and technology, including drainage water recycling, which is the practice of using a drainage management system designed to capture water during wet periods so it can be used during dry periods to support growing crops, according to Iowa State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
