BUSINESS RECORD: Athene Watershed26 Highlights Innovation and Collaboration

Innovative solutions to conservation challenges were a primary focus of the inaugural Athene Watershed26 conference held this summer in Des Moines. Designed to inspire collaboration and find multi-layered solutions to water quality issues, the conference convened more than 250 attendees from conservation, agribusiness, academic, NGO, and public sectors.

As part of the two-day conference, the Great Outdoors Foundation revealed the three finalists for “Convergence: The Conservation Ag Accelerator,” a pitch competition to recognize innovative products, services, and technologies designed to improve conservation outcomes in the agriculture industry. Finalists received grants from the Great Outdoors Foundation’s Conservation Acceleration Fund, which matches private investment dollars with public funds.
