OUR VALUE
There’s nothing quite like the power in numbers. Any one of us has the potential to make an impact, but when we stand together, that influence is multiplied exponentially. At the Great Outdoors Foundation, we’ve seen firsthand how collaborative generosity can change the landscape of a community.
Because of our faithful partners, donors and supporters, we collectively invested more than $700,000 in 2021 Polk County Conservation initiatives alone. No single person accomplished that — it was in our numbers that we were able to support programs and projects that elevate conservation and outdoor recreation in our region.
On average, Great Outdoors Foundation supporters give just $250 annually. If you do the math, that’s a lot of people contributing to the success of our mission! It’s truly inspiring when you consider the way our community comes together around a common cause.
This is the heart of our new Conservation Circle. Regardless of the amount you choose to contribute, we want you to be confident in the impact of your dollars. With one streamlined program for both individuals and corporations, our Conservation Circle allows us to leverage the most impact out of your dollar and develop a mutually beneficial relationship in which you or your organization provide input and receive report of measurable benefits we’ve come to expect in the modern philanthropic era.
As our organization continues to grow, it’s impossible not to reflect on all that we — that means you too — have been able to accomplish. We invite you to take this next step and look forward to where this journey takes us next.
