RELEASE: Application Now Open for 2026 Creative Conservationist Awards

The Great Outdoors Foundation is pleased to announce that the application for its Creative Conservationist awards is now open. In its third year, the Creative Conservationist recognizes individual(s) and organization(s) that have gone to extraordinary lengths to champion water, soil, and planet while exemplifying the values of innovation, collaboration, and stewardship.
“There are so many incredible individuals and organizations advancing conservation across the region, and we’re thrilled to be able to celebrate some of the standouts with our Creative Conservationist awards,” Hannah Inman, Great Outdoors Foundation CEO, said. “These stories inspire us all to continue in our efforts to champion water, soil, and planet.”
Nominations are due Friday, May 1. The award recipients will be notified by Monday, June 1, and the Creative Conservationist awards will be presented at Athene Watershed26 on Wednesday, July 1. Both third-party and self-nominations are invited.
